A cozy library with stacks of books on chairs, shelves full of books, green plants, and soft natural light from a nearby window.

As nature sheds the cold of winter, many of us get the urge to refresh our homes. But spring cleaning can go beyond closets and countertops—it can be an emotional and mental reset, too.

Mental clutter looks like:

  • Chronic overthinking

  • Emotional exhaustion

  • Digital overload

  • Toxic relationships

Ways to Declutter Internally:

  • Clean one space each day and pair it with a mental intention

  • Practice emotional journaling or expressive writing

  • Unfollow accounts or habits that drain you

  • Revisit your boundaries and say "no" where needed

Decluttering isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating space for peace, clarity, and renewal—inside and out.
